so today is the first full day of making changes to my thoughts about my weight but also how I see food.
Food is not supposed to be used for an award. All my life that is the one thing I enjoyed that was constant until I got married. Now my family is the constant.
I want to look at fruits and veggies and crave them and not get bored with them. When I was Dr. Oz and people show what they did to loose their weight and they say oatmeal, a piece of chicken breast with brocoli. OK I could do that for a couple of days. then I would get so bored. Come an I need variety.
so now my challenge when I need variety is not too look for the next chocolate dessert nor french fries. oh you are the one thing I love to hate.
Today my menu has been
oatmeal for breakfast with milk-200 calories
snack nutts and dark chocolate prunes-370
Lunch-veggies-green peppers and carrots 50 calories
Mini sandwich with turkey-mayo and cheese-275
2"x2" piece of cake-dang the chocolate-200 calories.
So far I am at 1095 calories. I really only want to eat 1500 calories. so only 305 calories for the wrest of the day. Yeh right.
Once I get working out again this will be so much easier. Keep positive. You can do this.
